Emergency Room

The ER Department provides patients with a high level of care when they need it most. Designed to handle almost every type of emergent and critical care situation, the ER Department stabilizes any medical or surgical caution in all age groups. Our ER staff consists of physician coverage 24 hours a day and an excellent group of nurses trained to meet the needs of our patients and to provide coverage during our busiest times. We strive to give our patients the best of medical care in a compassionate and respectful manner.

When to Go

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Chest or upper abdominal pain or pressure
  • Fainting, sudden dizziness, weakness
  • Changes in vision
  • Confusion or changes in mental status
  • Any sudden or severe pain
  • Unexplained stupor, drowsiness or disorientation
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Severe or persistent vomiting or diarrhea
  • Coughing or vomiting blood
  • Difficulty speaking
  • Shortness of breath
  • Suicidal feelings
  • Unusual abdominal pain
